Abstract

The export value of South Sumatra Province in March 2013 was US $ 385.24 million consisting of oil and gas exports amounting to US $ 71.92 million and US $ 313.32 million from non-oil and gas commodity exports.

The United States, Malaysia and China are the main export destinations South Sumatra, during January - March 2013 each reached US $ 238.26 million, US $ 228.37 million and US $ 139.80 million, with the roles of the three reaching 58.05 percent of total exports in March 2013

Exports to the European Union in January - March 2013 reached US $ 122.78 million (11.75 percent of total exports). Exports to the European Union have increased compared to the same period in 2012 which reached 112.01 Million. While ASEAN exports reached US $ 252.19 million (24.14 percent of total exports) or decreased compared to the same period in 2012 with a value of US $ 277.48 million
