Abstract

The export value of South Sumatra Province in January 2013 was US $ 296.50 million, consisting of oil and gas exports of US $ 49.29 million and US $ 247.22 million from non-oil and gas commodity exports.

Malaysia, the United States and India are the main export destinations south Sumatra, during January 2013 each reached US $ 68.03 million, US $ 60.64 million and US $ 26.84 million, with the role of the three reaching 52.45 percent of total exports in January 2013.

Exports to the European Union in January 2013 reached US $ 41.85 million (14.11 percent of total exports). Exports to the European Union have increased compared to the same period in 2012 which reached 35.29 million. While ASEAN exports reached US $ 73.86 million (24.91 percent of total exports), an increase compared to the same period in 2012 with a value of US $ 62.04 million
