Development consumer price index Palembang City February 2024

In February 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Palembang City will be 2.63 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.23.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.16 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.65 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 2.11 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.10 percent; health group at 1.07 percent; transportation group at 0.53 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.27 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.27 percent; education group at 1.57 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.70 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.13 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Palembang City in February 2024 are 0.21 percent and 0.19 percent respectively.
