Development of the Palembang City Urban Consumer Price Index January 2023

In January 2023 there was year on year (yoy) inflation for Palembang City of 5.34 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 113.29.

Inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by increases in most of the expenditure group indices, namely: namely: the transportation group by 14.84 percent; the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.65 percent; personal care and other services group of 6.42 percent; recreation, sport and culture group by 5.35 percent; equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group of 4.93 percent; the education group of 3.89 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 3.44 percent; the group providing food and drink/restaurants by 3.14 percent; the health group by 2.47 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 1.39 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.10 percent.
