Abstract

Inflation in Palembang City in December 2017 was due to an increase in the Price Index across all expenditure groups, ie the foodstuff category experienced an increase in the price index by 2.09 percent; transportation, communication & financial services group (0.46 percent); housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel (0.16 percent); clothing group of (0.13 percent); health group (0.11 percent); finished food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group (0.05 percent); and education, recreation and sports group (0.05 percent).
