Abstract

South Sumatra Province ITK in the second quarter of 2012 is worth more than 100, meaning that the economic condition of consumers has improved from the previous quarter. Looking at the magnitude of the index value (ITK value of 108.13) the level of consumer optimism also increased compared to the first quarter of 2012 (ITK value of 107.38).

The improvement in consumer economic conditions was driven by rising household incomes (ITK value of 109.27), low inflation in relation to daily food consumption (ITK value of 108.87) and increased consumption of some food and non-food commodities (ITK value of 104 , 42).
