Abstract

A. Rice

  • 2011 rice production (Fixed figure) as much as 3.38 million tons of milled dry grain (MPD), increased amounted to 112.22 thousand tons (3.43 percent) compared to 2010. The increase in production was caused by an increase in harvested area and productivity, each increased by 15.34 thousand hectares (1.99 percent) and 0.60 quintal / hectare (1.41 percent).
  • 2012 rice production (forecast figure I) is estimated to reach 3.59 million tons of MPD, up amounted to 203.26 thousand tons (6.01 percent) compared to 2011. This increase in production estimated due to an increase in harvested area of ​​29.42 thousand hectares (3.75 percent) and an increase in productivity of 0.93 quintal / hectare (2.16 percent).
B. Corn
  • Corn production in 2011 (Fixed Figures) was 125.68 thousand tons of dry shelled rice, down by 108 tons (0.09 percent) compared to 2010. The decrease in production was caused the harvest area decreased by 804 hectares (2.38 percent), while the productivity experienced an increase of 0.88 quintal / hectare (2.36 percent).
  • 2012 corn production (forecast figure I) is estimated at 121.67 thousand tons of shelled dry, down by 4.02 thousand tons (3.20 percent) compared to 2011. Declining production This corn is estimated due to a relatively large decrease in harvested area, reaching 1.40 thousand hectares (4.24 percent), while corn productivity has increased by 0.41 quintal / hectare (1.08 percent).
C. Soy
  • Soybean production in 2011 (Fixed Figures) was 13.71 thousand tons of dry beans, an increase of 2.05 thousand tonnes (17.54 percent) compared to 2010. The increase in production was caused by a large increase harvest of 1.17 thousand hectares (15.48 percent), and productivity has also increased of 0.27 quintal / hectare (1.74 percent).
  • 2012 Soybean production in 2012 (Forecast Number I) was 10.54 thousand tons of dry beans, down 3.17 thousand tons (23.14 percent) compared to 2011. The decline in production was caused by a decrease in harvested area and productivity respectively 1.97 thousand hectares (22.61 percent) and 0.11 quintal / hectare (0.70 percent).
