Abstract

The manufacturing industry sector has a very important role in the national economy, even provide the biggest added value among the eight other GRDP sectors, and remain the the leading sector in the economy of South Sumatra. Nearly 25 percent of the economy in South Sumatra Province is supported by the manufacturing industry sector. In the third quarter of 2010, the contribution of the manufacturing industry on the economy of South Sumatra by 23.28 percent, and there was an increase in growth in IV quarter of 2010 reached 23.77 percent.
