Abstract

In July 2022, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Selatan through the entrance to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Airport (SMB) II Palembang was recorded at 1,019 visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in July 2022 was 55.15 percent, a decrease of 0.55 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 55.70 percent. On the other hand, when compared to the same period in 2021, it has increased by 13.45 points. While the TPK for non-star hotels for July 2022 was recorded at 19.53 percent.
The highest ROR for star hotels in July 2022 occurred in 5-star hotels, which was 73.68 percent and the lowest was in 1-star hotels, which was 35.61 percent.
The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in July 2022 reached 1.66 days, an increase of 0.08 points compared to June 2022 which was recorded at 1.58 days.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in July 2022 is higher than the average length of stay of Indonesian guests.
