Number of tourists visiting Sumatera Selatan on April 2019 as many as 1,425 visits

The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in April 2019 was recorded as 1,425 visits, a decrease of 1.59 percent compared to March 2019 which amounted to 1,448 visits.

The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in South Sumatra in April 2019 was recorded at 51.70 percent, up 1.08 points compared to the March 2019 hotel TPK which was 50.62 percent. When compared with the same period in 2018, the April 2019 TPK decreased by 11.62 points.

The highest April 2019 TPK occurred in 5-star hotels at 56.94 percent and the lowest at 1-star hotels at 45.07 percent

Average Length of Stay Star hotel guests in April 2019 were recorded at 1.71 days, up 0.22 points compared to March 2019 which was recorded at 1.49 days.

As of April 2019, the average length of stay of foreign guests was 3.23 days, down 1.24 days compared to March 2019 which was recorded at 4.47 days. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of domestic guests was 1.70 days, up 0.23 days compared to March 2019 which was 1.47 days.
