Abstract

Most of the foreign tourists visiting in September 2019 came from Malaysia with 616 visits (47.49 percent), Singapore with 138 visits (10.64 percent), and China with 75 visits (5.78 percent).

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in September 2019 reached an average of 41.97 percent, down 12.34 points compared to the August 2016 hotel TPK of 54.31 percent. This TPK in September 2019 is the lowest throughout 2017-2019.

The highest ROR for hotels is 5-star hotels by 45.58 percent and the lowest is for 4-star hotels by 33.98 percent

The average length of stay of guests in South Sumatra in September 2019 at a star hotel of 1.91 days, which consisted of 3.06 days of foreign guests and 1.90 days of Indonesian guests' length of stay.
