Abstract

The economy of South Sumatra Province as measured by the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the third quarter of 2015 reached Rp 88.31 trillion and at the base of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 65.93 trillion.

The economy of South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2015 against the third quarter of 2014 grew 4.89 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Provision of Accommodation and Food and Drink 11.30 percent. In terms of Expenditures by LNPRT Consumption Expenditures Components grew by 12.13 percent.

The economy of South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2015 compared to the previous quarter rose to 3.82 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, this growth was caused by Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries which grew 15.62 percent. While from the expenditure side, it was more due to the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component which grew 5.32 percent.
