Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in November 2014 as many as 901 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in November 2014 increased by 25.49 percent compared to October 2014

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in November 2014 reached an average of 48.84 percent, down 0.86 points compared to the hotel TPK in October 2014 of 49.70 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classifications, it turns out that in November 2014 the ROR for five-star hotels reached 72.78 percent and was the highest ROR for hotels compared to other star-class hotels.

The average length of stay of foreign guests in November 2014 increased by 1.78 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in October 2014. While the average length of stay of Nusantara / Domestic guests in November 2014 decreased by 0, 19 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in October 2014
