Abstract

The value of ITK in South Sumatra Province in the fourth quarter of 2013 was 110.21, meaning that the economic condition of consumers improved from the previous quarter. The level of consumer optimism is lower than in the third quarter of 2013 (ITK value of 111.63).

The improvement in consumer economic conditions was driven by rising household incomes, the low influence of inflation on consumption levels and rising consumption of food and non-food commodities
