Abstract

  • The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in November 2013 was 1,076 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in November 2013 experienced a significant increase of 29.17 percent compared to October 2013.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in November 2013 reached an average of 57.13 percent, up 4.22 points compared to the ROR for hotels in October 2013 which amounted to 52.91 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in November 2013 reached 1.66 days, a decrease of 0.04 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in October 2013.
