  • The number of foreign tourists visiting the South Sumatra through the entrance of the Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in March 2012 was 781 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in March 2012 increased by 8.77 percent compared to February 2012.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in March 2012 reached an average of 53.15 percent, down 4.02 points compared to the ROR for hotels in February 2012 which amounted to 57.17 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in March 2012 reached 8.01 days, an increase of 5.23 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in February 2012.
