  • The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in August 2013 as many as 909 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in August 2013 experienced an increase of 7.19 percent compared to July 2013.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in August 2013 reached an average of 42.28 percent, up 0.34 points compared to the ROR of hotels in July 2013 of 41.94 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in August 2013 reached 1.88 days, a decrease of 0.18 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in July 2013.
