Abstract

The export value of South Sumatra Province in October 2010 increased by 19.71 percent compared to September 2010, from US $ 287.08 million to US $ 343.66 million

The export value of South Sumatra Province in October 2010 amounted to US $ 343.66 million consisting of exports oil and gas amounting to US $ 40.48 million; and US $ 303.18 million from non-oil commodity exports. Non export value oil and gas in October 2010 increased by US $ 56.94 million from September 2010. The largest increase in the value of non-oil exports in October 2010 compared to September 2010 occurred in rubber commodities of US $ 32.85 million, followed by exports of CPO commodities of US $ 9.78 million, and shrimp commodity of US $ 1.03 million.

South Sumatra exports in October 2010 to China, the United States, and Malaysia main destination countries, respectively reaching US $ 85.59 million, US $ 75.41 million and US $ 48.80 million, with the role of the three reaching 61.05 percent of total exports.
