Abstract

South Sumatra's NTP in October 2024 increased by 2.21 percent compared to last month's NTP, namely from 124.44 to 127.20.
The increase in NTP in October 2024 was influenced by the increase in NTP in several subsectors, each of which increased: Plantation 3.36 percent; Livestock 0.43 percent; Fisheries 0.33 percent; Capture Fisheries 0.53 percent and Aquaculture 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP that experienced a decline were the subsectors: Food Crops by 1.71 percent and Horticulture by 2.83 percent.
In October 2024, the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) for South Sumatra Province decreased by 0.24 percent, namely from 122.77 to 122.48.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in October 2024 was 128.02 or an increase of 2.09 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
