Abstract

The South Sumatra FTT (Farmer Terms of Trade) in July 2024 increased by 1.45 percent compared to the previous month, rising from 122.40 to 124.18.
The increase in the FTT in July 2024 was influenced by rising FTTs in several subsectors, with each increasing as follows: Food Crops 2.52 percent; Plantations 1.47 percent; Fisheries 0.23 percent; and Aquaculture 0.91 percent. Conversely, the FTT decreased in the following subsectors: Horticulture by 4.12 percent; Livestock by 1.48 percent; and Capture Fisheries by 0.20 percent.
In July 2024, the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) for South Sumatra Province decreased by 0.77 percent, from 124.67 to 123.71.
The Agriculture’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in July 2024 was 126.20, up by 0.48 percent compared to the previous month.
