South Sumatra Province in June 2022 experienced inflation of 0.89 percent, Inflation for the 2022 Calendar Year (cumulative) until June 2022 was 4.36 percent. “Year on Year” (June 2022 to June 2021) annual inflation of 5.39 percent. The dominant commodities that caused inflation in June 2022 in South Sumatra, namely: red chilies, shallots, and chicken eggs experienced a significant price increase compared to the average price in May 2022.
