Abstract

The export value of South Sumatra in February 2022 reached US$438.11 million, an increase of 23.37 percent compared to exports in January 2022. Compared to February 2021, the export value rose by 19.34 percent.
Non-oil and gas exports in February 2022 reached US$419.16 million, up 21.43 percent compared to January 2022. Compared to February 2021, non-oil and gas exports rose by 18.21 percent
Cumulatively, the export value of South Sumatra from January to February 2022 reached US$793.23 million, an increase of 4.22 percent compared to the same period in 2021, as well as non-oil and gas exports which reached US$764.34 million, an increase of 3.05 percent.
The import value of South Sumatra in February 2022 reached US$ 61.20 million, down 27.21 percent compared to January 2022 and up 15.44 percent compared to February 2021.
Oil and gas imports in February 2022 were worth US$5.66 million, down 64.75 percent compared to January 2022 and up 115.19 percent compared to February 2021
Non-oil and gas imports in February 2022 were valued at US$55.54 million, down 18.36 percent compared to January 2022 and up 10.24 percent compared to February 2021.
Sumatera Selatan's trade balance in February 2022 experienced a surplus of US$376.91 million from the non-oil and gas sector of US$363.62 million, and the oil and gas sector of US$13.29 million.
