Abstract

During December 2021 there were no foreign tourists (tourists) visiting South Sumatra through the entrance to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Airport (SMB) II Palembang
The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in December 2021 was 57.90 percent, an increase of 0.27 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 57.63 percent. When compared to the same period in 2020, the TPK in December 2021 also increased by 4.07 points
The highest TPK in December 2021 occurred in 5-star hotels, which was 81.34 percent and the lowest was for 1-star hotels, which was 26.50 percent.
The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in December 2021 reached 1.49 days, an increase of 0.17 points compared to November 2021 which was recorded at 1.32 days.
The average stay of foreign guests in December 2021 is higher than the average length of stay of Indonesian guests.
