Abstract
In
February 2021, there were no foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra through
the entrance to the Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang due to the
Corona Virus Disease 2020 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Room
Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sumatra in February 2021 was recorded at
46.11 percent, or an increase of 0.26 points compared to the ROR for hotels in
January 2021 which was 45.85 percent.
The
highest ROR for star hotels in February 2021 occurred in five-star hotels by
69.85 percent and the lowest at one-star hotels by 20.89 percent.
The
average length of stay of all star hotel guests in February 2021 was recorded
at 1.47 days, a decrease of 0.02 days compared to January 2021 which was 1.49
days.
The
average length of stay of foreign guests in February 2021 was 5.35 days, an
increase of 3.82 days compared to January 2021 of 1.53 days and the average
length of stay of domestic guests in February 2021 was 1.47 days, decreased by
0.0.02 days compared to January 2021 which amounted to 1.49 days.
