Palembang Municipality experienced a deflation of 0.35 percent in August 2020

Palembang Municipality in August 2020 experienced deflation of 0.35 percent. Inflation for the Calendar Year (cumulative up to August 2020) is 0.49 percent, and Annual “year on year” inflation (August 2020 against August 2019) is 0.72 percent. The dominant commodities that contributed to the deflation in August 2020 in Palembang City, were among others: purebred chicken, shallots and tilapia fish.
