Abstract

Most of the foreign tourists visiting in February 2020 came from Malaysia with 450 visits (53.44 percent), Singapore with 159 visits (18.88 percent), and China with 30 visits (3.56 percent).

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in February 2020 was recorded at 53.22 percent, up 5.11 points compared to the TPK of hotels in January 2020 which amounted to 48.11 percent.

The highest hotel ROR is five-star hotels at 62.66 percent and the lowest is hotels one star which amounted to 32.42 percent.

The average length of stay of guests in South Sumatra in February 2020 at a star hotel was 1.49 days, up 0.05 days compared to January 2020. With details of 2.61 days long stay of foreign guests and 1.49 days long stay of Indonesian guests / domestic.
