Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rates of South
Sumatra Province on the month November 2018 was recorded at 92.42 or decreased
by 0.72 percent compared to the previous month's NTP, the decrease in NTP was
influenced by the Farmer Received Price Index (It) which decreased by 0.91
percent, higher than the decrease in the Farmers Paid Price Index (Ib) which
fell by 0.20 percent.
In November 2018 the decline in NTP was
affected by the decline in NTP in almost all sub-sectors such as horticultural
crops which fell by 0.46 percent, people's plantations 2.01 percent, livestock
1.10, fisheries in general 0.80 percent, capture fisheries 1.19 percent and
0.43 percent aquaculture. While the increase in NTP only occurred in the food
crop sub-sector by 1.30 percent.
In November 2018, in South Sumatra there was a
rural deflation of 0.35 percent due to a decrease in the foodstuffs group index
by 0.92 percent and clothing by 0.33 percent. While other groups that
experienced increases were processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco
by 0.18 percent, housing 0.04 percent, health 0.29 percent, education,
recreation and sports 0.02 percent and transportation and communication 0.50
percent.
