Abstract

The inflation of Palembang on May 2017 reached (0.64 percent). Inflation Year Calendar (cumulative until May 2017) is equal to (1,08 percent). Inflation "year on year" (May 2017 to May 2016) was 3.86 percent.

The inflation of Palembang on May 2017 occurred due to an increase in the price index in 5 (five) groups, namely foodstuff category (1.58 percent); Housing, air, electricity, gas & fuel group at 0.78 percent; Transportation, communication & financial services (0.52 percent); Group health (0.06 percent); And clothing by 0.01 percent). While 2 (two) groups there was no significant price index increment, ie finished food, beverages, cigarette & tobacco groups and education, recreation and sports groups.
