Abstract

The value of exports of South Sumatra in May 2016 experienced a decrease of 12.53 percent compared to April 2016. The same is when compared to the same period in 2015 (January-May 2015) exports of South Sumatra Province decreased by 32.47 percent.
  • The export value of South Sumatra Province in May 2016 amounted to US $ 142.20 million consisting of oil and gas exports amounting to US $ 12.84 million and US $ 129.36 million from non-oil and gas commodity exports.
  • The value of South Sumatra imports in May 2016 amounted to US $ 75.32 million, an increase of 60.51 percent when compared to April 2016.
  • The South Sumatra Province's imports in May 2016 amounted to US $ 75.32 million consisting of oil and gas imports of US $ 0.75 million and non-oil and gas US $ 74.57 million.
