Abstract

The value of ITK in South Sumatra Province in the first quarter of 2016 was 96.44, meaning that the economic condition of consumers declined from the previous quarter with a level of consumer optimism that was also lower than the quarter IV-2015 (ITK value of 100.35).

The decline in household income has a profound effect on the decline in consumer economic conditions even though the level of consumption rises and the inflation does not affect household consumption.
