Abstract

  • Rice production in 2014 (Fixed Figures) was 3.67 million tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), down by 6.29 thousand tons (0.17 percent) compared to 2013. The decline in production was caused by a decrease in productivity of 0.70 quintal / hectares (1.52 percent), while the harvested area increased by 10.86 thousand hectares (1.36 percent).
  • Rice production in 2015 (Forecast Number I) is estimated to reach 4.11 million tons of MPD, up by 434.77 thousand tons (11.85 percent) compared to 2014. This increase in production is expected due to an increase in harvested area and productivity of each amounted to 26.69 thousand hectares (3.29 percent) and 3.75 quintal / hectare (8.29 percent).
  • Corn production in 2014 (Fixed Figures) amounted to 191.97 thousand tons of dry seed, an increase of 24.52 thousand tons (14.64 percent) compared to 2013. The increase in production was due to an increase in productivity of 8.68 quintals / hectare (16, 88 percent), while the harvested area decreased by 619 hectares (1.90 percent).
  • Corn production in 2015 (Forecast Number I) is estimated at 207.23 thousand tons of dry shelled rice, up by 15.26 thousand tons (7.95 percent) compared to 2014. The increase in corn production is estimated due to an increase in harvested area and productivity of each 59 hectares (0.18 percent) and 4.65 quintal / hectare (7.74 percent).
  • Soybean production in 2014 (Fixed Figures) was 12.55 thousand tons of dry beans, an increase of 7.41 thousand tons (144.16 percent) compared to 2013. The increase in production was due to an increase in harvested area of ​​3.67 thousand hectares (103, 06 percent) and productivity also increased by 2.92 quintal / hectare (20.25 percent).
  • Soybean production in 2015 (Forecast Number I) was 14.09 thousand tons of dry beans, up 1.54 thousand tons (12.26 percent) compared to 2014. The increase in production was due to an increase in harvested area of ​​1.27 thousand hectares (17, 51 percent), while productivity has decreased by 0.77 quintal / hectare (4.44 percent).
