Abstract

Rice production in 2014 (Provisional Figures) was 3.67 million tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), down by 7.14 thousand tons (0.19 percent) compared to 2013. The decline in production was due to a decrease in productivity of 0.67 quintal / hectares (1.46 percent), while the harvested area has increased by 10.14 thousand hectares (1.27 percent).

Corn production in 2014 (Provisional Figures) was 191.91 thousand tons of dry shelled, up by 24.45 tons (14.60 percent) compared to 2013. The increase in production was due to an increase in productivity of 8.68 quintals / hectare (16.88 percent), while the harvested area decreased by 630 hectares (1.94 percent).

Soybean production in 2014 (Provisional Figures) was 12.55 thousand tons of dry beans, an increase of 7.41 thousand tons (144.16 percent) compared to 2013. The increase in production was due to increased harvested area and productivity respectively by 3.67 thousand hectares (103.06 percent) and 2.92 quintal / hectare (20.25 percent).
