Abstract

Inflation that occurred in the city of Palembang in November 2012 was due to an increase in the CPI in the health group (1.20 percent) followed by the clothing group (0.55 percent) followed by the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group (0.28 percent) followed by the foodstuffs group (0.24 percent), the processed food, drinks, cigarettes and tobacco group (0.07 percent), then the education, recreation and exercise group (0.04 percent) and the transportation, communication and services group finance (0.01 percent).

2012 calendar year inflation in the city of Palembang was 2.39 percent while year on year inflation (November 2012 to November 2011) reached 2.74 percent.
