Abstract

The NTP of Padi & Palawija in South Sumatra in September 2012 was 125.19 percent, indicating that rice and palawija farmers were relatively prosperous compared to the base year 2007. When compared to the previous month, the NTP of rice and palawija in September 2012 rose by 0.17 percent.

Horticulture NTP in September 2012 was 113.02 percent, meaning the level of welfare of horticultural farmers was better than the base year 2007. When compared to the previous month, September horticultural FTT rose by 0.28 percent.

The NTP of People's Plantation Plantations (planters) in South Sumatra in September 2012 was 91.45 percent, indicating that planters in South Sumatra were still experiencing a deficit. However, when compared to the previous month, the exchange rate of planters in September 2012 decreased by 1.04 percent.

The Farmers Exchange Rate in South Sumatra in September 2012 was 104.63 percent, indicating that the welfare level of farmers was relatively better compared to the base year 2007. However, when compared with the previous month, the exchange rate of farmers experienced a decrease of 0.56 percent.

The Fishermen Exchange Rate (NTN) in South Sumatra in September 2012 was 115.17 percent. When compared with the previous month, the exchange rate of fishermen dropped by 0.13 percent.
