Abstract

  • Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) * South Sumatra in February 2012 amounted to 110.38 percent, indicated that in general the purchasing power of farmers in February 2012 was better than the base year 2007. If compared to the previous month, the February 2012 NTP rose by 1.13 percent, which was due the increase in the price index received by farmers is generally greater with the increase in the price index paid the farmer.
  • NTP Padi & Palawija in South Sumatra in February 2012 amounted to 124.33 percent, indicating that paddy and palawija farmers are relatively prosperous compared to the 2007 base year. When compared to the month previously, the NTP of rice and crops in February 2012 rose by 1.74 percent.
